Shamsi Music to launch their debut album ‘The Audition’ at the Kenya National Theatre

Shamsi Music will launch their latest album ‘The Audition’ on the 13th and 14th of July 2017 at the Kenya National Theatre.

Shamsi Music is an instrumental jazz fusion band from Nairobi Kenya, which prides itself in creating memorable musical experiences that capture the heart, mind and soul.

Their performance repertoire includes sharing the stage with international greats such as Cuban piano maestro, Roberto Fonseca, vocal powerhouse Fatoumata Diawara – Mali and Grammy Award winning saxophonist, David Sanborn – USA. Locally, they have worked with amazing upcoming talent such as Kendi Nkonge, Manasseh Shalom, Emma Nyabera and more established acts such as Rigga and Noel Nderitu and Mwanga Band.

They also have a nack for leaving their audiences breathless with their spectacular & world-class performances ❤

Come enjoy them live in action, as they sample jams like Kipepeo, Birds of Paradise and my absolute favorite, Murata from their newly released debut album alongside some other celebrated favorites!

The Album Launch, dubbed Dawn till Dusk, will feature Kendi Nkonge, Manasseh Shalom and Emma Nyabera on vocals, with special guest appearances by Kavutha Mwanzia-Asiyo, Rigga and Nechesa Odima. DJ DLite will be on the decks!
